This place was awesome. The service is so friendly, the guy who was taking care of us was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. We went to cologne to shoot about the restaurants and ended up in this gem one evening and we left happy.

Great restaurant, excellent service / staff and delicious tapas. We loved it !! I recommend it to friends and am already planning the next visit :) Thanks to the team !!

My new favorite tapas shop in Cologne. I was there for the first time yesterday with a friend (but certainly not the last time!). So far I hadn't noticed the shop because it is about 3 minutes away from Barbarossaplatz. Our luck: We got a place outside in the bombing weather and were greeted very friendly. What can I say? The food is so delicious (and homemade), the boss is so friendly and the location is just great. Price-performance ratio is also completely okay, the portions are even larger than in similar shops. Been there yesterday for the first time since lockdown. Food and service great as always. Will try the out-of-home offer soon. In any case, still an absolute recommendation.

The food was great but for weeks you have not been able to pay with an EC card. The first beer tasted stale but afterwards it was tasty and well tapped.

We had a really super cozy evening with very tasty tapas and top cocktails. The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and everything looks very familiar. The facility fits perfectly into the friendly concept! I will recommend it to my best friends! Keep it up!

Tastes like in Greece - the menu is a nice mix with a Greek focus. The Greek dishes are very tasty and as I know them from Greek friends and a vacation in GR! I recommend Muschel-Sagranaki and Frta-Sagranaki ... one thing I didn't know .. pink ouzo ... mild and digestible. Totally nice atmosphere and clean and nice toilets, unfortunately not common at Barbarossaplatz 🙈 Parking garage almost in front of the door and great service, I look forward to the next visit.

The MezeBar is definitely recommended. Both the service and the food were outstanding. We tried a variety of tapas and were absolutely thrilled. Despite a full load, the food came quickly and also tasted very good. Praise to the kitchen! The service is still done by the boss himself and obviously knows what to do. He retains the overview, is friendly and accommodating. A special hospitality! Keep it up!

A really cozy bar with excellent tapas and special hospitable service! We have many tried different things from the menu and everything was more than delicious! There are also delicious Peters Kölsch and great wines!

So, so, so friendly. Stumbled upon this little gem after unsuccessful attempt at rather snooty, other local pub/restaurant. Lovely warm welcome, relaxed but lively atmosphere and service which was attentive without being intrusive. Served good crisp beer, fresh tasty food (could eat their feta saganaki all night!) and uber reasonable; €38 for 3 rounds of drinks and 6 dishes! Highly recommend.

Clear recommendation. In the MezeBar we spent wonderful, enjoyable hours. Very, very delicious food was served in a pleasantly uncomplicated, yet cozy atmosphere. Here, the boss serves his guest personally. However, it would be better if he quickly finds support in the service. The success ensures just for many guests and more than 2 hands also has a boss :))). Thanks to a truly outstanding price, performance ratio, we have a deserved 5 star rating.

Was there with a few friends a day after the opening. It was really delicious and the service had a good mix of sovereign relaxation and attention. I had the chicken skewers and delicious grilled vegetables. The meat was extremely tender and the vegetables perfectly grilled. Overall, everything was delicious. The toilets were also new and clean. Can only recommend this store and would like to come back.

We were there for the opening day. The service was really great. Very friendly and always a smile on the lips although much to do. We tried different tapas which were all really delicious. The terrace outside is cozy and contrary to my expectations the street does not bother at all. We will be back definitely.
